Geoff James gets accepted to The American Academy of Dramatic Arts

The Road Home's Geoff James has been accepted to The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles California. The Academy’s Los Angeles campus is built on what was once the south lot of Charlie Chaplin's studios and is near all the major television and film studios. It is a state-of-the-art facility, with classrooms, acting studios, a costume and prop shop, plus a television studio. With his acceptance, Geoff plans to begin classes at the start of January 2009 quarter. Notable names to have attended the Academy are, Kirk Douglas, Don Rickles, Grace Kelly, Anne Bancroft, Robert Redford, Danny DeVito, Adrien Brody, and Paul Rudd. Laura Clark lands roll in "Father of the Bride"

Laura Clark, (Emma) has landed a roll in Caroline Francke's "Father of the Bride." Long before “Father of the Bride” was a hit movie, Caroline Francke's adaptation of Edward Streeter's popular novel was a successful stage play. The Bethlehem Players, part of the Bethlehem UMC Community Theatre, will be presenting the the production April 4, 5, 6, 11, 12, and 13 at 7 p.m. with general admission tickets $15.00. "Glass," starring Chris Whitsett, to show at Nashville Film Festival
